Mr. Heyward Lloyd

Funeral services for Heyward Lee Lloyd age 72, will be held Sunday at 4:00 at the House of Prayer Holiness Church. Rev. Billy Melton and Rev. Hazel Mixon will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3-4 pm Sunday at the church.

Heyward was born in Hartsville a son of the late Barney & Allean Blackwell Lloyd. He worked at Coker College Maintenance Department for 15 years. His way of answering the telephone was “Heyward Here”

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Mixon Lloyd, Hartsville; one daughter, Regina (Eddie Inman) Lloyd, Cassatt; four sisters, Lorene Norris, Lavone Watkins, Carolyn Wetzell and Bobbie Jean Quick, all of Hartsville; Special friend, Bobby Fields, Lydia. He was preceded in death by two sons, Barney Woodrow Lloyd and Rodney Heyward Lloyd; granddaughter, Heather Renee Grooms.
