Mr. Dennis Douglas

Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Graham Douglas age 59 will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 4:00pm at West Hartsville Baptist Church. Pastor James E. Beck, Jr. will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 3-5pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Dennis passed away at the McLeod Hospice House on Friday morning, May 5, 2017. He was born in Hartsville the son of the late Horace Douglas, Jr. and Marguerite Vick Douglas. He was a member of West Hartsville Baptist Church and was retired from Dixie Cup. He was a member of the APA Pool League and enjoyed playing golf with his sons. Dennis enjoyed making things with wood, he was an avid craftsman.

Surviving are his children, Denise (Landon) King, Hartsville, Graham (Ashley) Douglas, Bethune, Donald Douglas, Hartsville; the mother of his children and his best friend, Gayle Douglas Alexander, Hartsville; grandson, Sullivan Graham Douglas, Bethune; brothers, Larry Douglas, Rembert, Alton Douglas, Hartsville; sister, Linda (Boyd) Tolson, Hartsville; father and mother in law, Don and Frances McElveen, Hartsville.
