Misty Nicole Butler

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Misty Nicole Butler on September 6, while at Carolina Pines RMC.

Misty was a devout Christian who loved her family, especially her husband and kids, who were her whole heart. She loved sunflowers and all things purple or sparkly. If it was both purple and sparkly that was just a bonus. Misty always helped people and would’ve given somebody the shirt off her back. Living family members include her husband Wyatt, 3 kids, Taylor, Avery, and Ryder, her mother Lucy (Bunny) Crouse; her two siblings Jessica (Jervonia) Porterfield & Matthew (Ashley) Cooper and her nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her father Dale Levon Cooper, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Louise Cooper and her grandfather, Grier Levon Cooper.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. James Freeman will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
