Miriam Dampier

Funeral services for Miriam Wint (Mickie) Dampier age 82, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at the Fourth Street Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Holley and Mr. Mitchell Dampier will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mickie was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Thomas Perry & Onnie Thomas Wint. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly of God Church. She had owned “ Little Bo Peep Nursery “ for several years where she was know as “ Mama Mickie “. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are one son, James Edward (Jimmy) Dampier, McBee; four daughters, Angelia (Terry) Morrison, Hartsville, Terie Windham, Lamar, Sherrie (Jeffery) Kaigler, Swansea and Gina ( Daryl) Longnecker, Hartsville; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Dampier, Sr.
