Minnie Lou Brown

Mrs. Minnie Lou Brown age 100 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 6 while at McCoy Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Nathaniel (Nat) Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late John E. Brown and Victoria Boykin Brown. She was the oldest living member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She worked at the Bishopville Manufacturing Company and was a supervisor and retired from Jubilee Manufacturing in Lugoff. She was a loving wife, mother , grandmother, great grandmother and great great grand mother.

Surviving is one daughter, Martha Dell Boykin, Bishopville; two sons, Rev. Nathaniel (Nat) Brown and wife Carleen Brown, Bishopville; John  Aaron Brown and wife Gloria B. Brown, Bishopville; 15 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Levi M. Brown; two sons, Levi Bud Brown and Timothy Gene Brown; son-in-law, Olin Boykin; and several syblins.
