Bethune, S.C. Funeral services for Milton H. (Reb) Price, age 87, who passed away September 26 will be held Sunday at 4:00 at the Bethune Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Cockrell and Jackie Knight will officiate. Burial will be in the Brannon Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be Saturday 4-6 pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. Price was born in Bishopville a son of the late Willie K. & Rosa Edna Truesdale Price. He was retired from DuPont after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Bethune Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Chairman of Ushers, Nominating Committee, Cemetery Committee, Adult Mission Group, Senior Joy Group and Fisher of Men Sunday School Class. After retirement he worked at the Columbia Country Club with his son Terry Price from 1986 1997. He was an Army Veteran, member of the Camden American Legion, James Leroy Belk Post 17. Milton was a man who loved his family, friends and most of all he loved God and his church. He was an avid Gamecock Fan and loved all sports, including hunting, fishing and golf. He took pride in his yard. Surviving are his wife, Laurlei Hunter Price, Bethune; one son, Milton Terry Price, Cheraw; daughter & son in law, Donna Price (Michael) Grant, Hartsville; two step daughters, Laura Ann (David) Stokes, Bethune and Amy (Gabe) Brown, Hartsville; one grandson, Daniel (Karen) Grant, Hartsville; two granddaughters, Kylie (Scott) Gainey, Darlington and Ragan (Michael) Rogers, Hartsville; five step grandchildren, Catherine, John and Josh Ross, Garrett & Amelia Brown; seven great grandchildren, Landon and Logan Grant, Emma Grace Rogers, Carley , Hanna &, Trace Gainey and Cain Wilson; one sister, Willene Price Coward, Bethune. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Mae Sullivan Price and nine siblings, Margaret Price Marshall, Viva Price Ammons, James, DeLeon, Charlie, Fred, Roy, Robert and Clifton Price.
