Bethune, S.C. Funeral services for Mildred Edith McCaskill age 83, who passed away February 11, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the Bethune Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Cockrell, and Dr. James Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethune Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 pm at the Bethune Baptist Church. Mildred was born in Bethune a daughter of the late James Talley & Lizzie Jane Ratcliff McCaskill. She was retired from International Paper, a member of the Bethune Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Surviving are her Adopted Daughter: Libby (Marvin) Catoe, Bethune; Grandchildren: Bryan & Emily Catoe, Camden, Elizabeth & Travis Coates, Kershaw; Great Grandchildren: Elliott & Brooke Coates, Kershaw, Rachel Catoe, Camden; Nieces & Nephews: Charlie & Fred Stephens, Bethune, Barbara Ann Currie, Camden, Sandra Kennington, Camden, Bennie McCaskill, Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie B., Charles, J.T. & Alton McCaskill; sisters, Marguerite Stephens, Kattie Mae McCaskill, Rosa Lee McCaskill; Nephews, Billy Stephens, Glenn Stephens & Jerry McCaskill.
