Mary Nancy H. Walker

Mrs. Mary Nancy Walker, 76, passed away Monday evening, December 25^th, 2023, while surrounded by her family.

A native of Lee County, Mrs. Walker was a daughter of the late Rothwell Walter & Zuleen Gardner Tedder.  Mary Nancy was a member of St. Matthew Christian Church and dearly loved gospel music.  She would travel great distances just to listen to gospel groups perform.  Mary Nancy did love music, but her greatest love was her family.

Surviving are her sons, Randall (Bles) Huggins of Hartsville and Wally Huggins of Cassatt; grandchildren: Felisha (Jim) Smith, Micheal (Breeze) Huggins, Steven Huggins, Sapphire (Dylan) Jones, and Sara Huggins; great-grandchildren: Christina Huggins, Robert Smith, Christopher Smith, Phillip Smith, Jaimie Smith, and Chloe Jones; and a brother, Anthony (Betty) Tedder.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edwin Lamar Walker, Jr.

Her service will conducted at 11:00 on Thursday morning, January 4th, 2024, by the graveside of St. Matthew Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Champ Squires and Chaplain Sammy Geddings officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the graveside.
