Mary Fields

Funeral services for Mary Frances Fields, age 79, who passed away January 18, will be held Monday at 3:00 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Lydia, S.C. Rev. Gregg Varner and Rev. Valerie Mireb will officiate. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends anytime at the residence 848 West Lydia Highway, Lydia. Mrs. Fields was born in Lydia a daughter of the late Alvin Heyward & Victoria Mozingo Brand. She was an active and faithful member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Lydia and was retired from the Post Office as Postmaster after 20 years of service. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Robert (Bobby) Fields, Lydia; three daughters, Dawn (Bob) Ellen, Bishopville, Tanzy (James) Moore, Charleston and Vicki (Mark) Olson, Lydia; one brother, Gene (Peggy) Brand, Lydia; eight grandchildren, Hannah & Jared Amell, Gretchen & Steven Jordan, Mary Margaret Ellen, Durning Moore, Gettys Moore, Jason & Rachel Olson, Jordan Olson and Christian Nalph Olson; five great grandchildren, Cade Amell, Landen Olson, Kyle Olson, Aydia Thompson and Destiny Waldrop; several nieces and nephews.
