Martin Stephen Drinkard

Martin Stephen Drinkard, age 62 passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.  A visitation will be held Monday April 26 from 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home.

Mr. Drinkard was born April 18, 1959 in Hartsville a son of the late James Monroe Drinkard and Ila Mae Styles Drinkard. He was co-owner of Freeman and Smith Jewelry before the business closed in 2008. He was very talented in designing unique jewelry pieces. He had clients that came from all over South Carolina for him to design and re-design pieces for them.

Surviving are his son, Martin Tyler Drinkard of Goose Creek, S.C.; Amber Bendle (Lakyn), Florence, S.C.; Michelle Kalpakci (Gokay), Fountain Inn, S.C.; one Special brother-in-law, Tommy Mahon, Hartsville, S.C.; one sister, Myra June Drinkard McAlhaney, Elgin, S.C.; two brothers, Thomas Gerald Drinkard (Kathy), Bishopville, S.C.; John Monroe Drinkard (Vivian), Hartsville, S.C.

Grandchildren, Brittany Sehnke, Jade Sehnke, Lauren Sehnke, Florence, S.C, Christian Drinkard, Yasemin Kalpakci and Ada Kalpakci, Fountain Inn, S.C.
