Martha Griffitts

View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Martha Warr Griffitts, age 75, will be held Monday at 4:00 at the Union United Methodist Church. Rev. Kitral Benton and Dr. Steven Todd will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 pm at the funeral home. Martha was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Clarence Woodrow and Geneva Johnson Warr. She received her LPN degree from the Hartsville Career Center and was a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her church especially the music. Surviving are one daughter, Myra Mills, Bethune; three sons, Scott (Genia) Blackwell, McBee, Mitchell Blackwell, Bethune and Dale (Tammy) Blackwell, Bethune; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; four sisters, Pam Padgett, Bluffton, Kay McCutcheon, Hartsville, Vickie Carter, Florence and Judy Langston, Florence; one brother, Benny Warr, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by a son, Martin Blackwell. Norton Funeral Home is honored to serve the Griffitts family.
