Mark "Moose" Carter

Mr. Mark “Moose” Carter age 60 passed away on December 9th, 2024 in Cheraw, SC after a brief illness.

Mark was born on March 5th, 1964 and grew up in Lamar, SC. He attended Lamar High School and later attended Clemson University. He was beloved by his friends, wife, children and grandchildren. His favorite pastime was creating comical nicknames for his loved ones, watching football, online gaming, and spending time with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vanessa Carter, his five children, Megan, Matthew, Mara, Mark and Molly Carter, his three grandchildren, Layla, Weston and Keagan, his brother Scott (Julie) Carter and his nieces and nephews, Brody and Olivia Carter, Kirsten and Trent Mann.

He will forever be loved and remembered, rest in peace “Swampdog”
