Marjorie Robbins

Mrs. Marjorie Howle “Margie” Robbins, 72, of Hartsville, passed away Tuesday morning, March 26th, 2019, at the McLeod Hospice House.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 on Monday afternoon, April 1st, 2019, in North Hartsville Baptist Church.  Reverend Ladell Humphries will officiate with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Robbins was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late Evander Boyd & Alice Boswell Howle.  Margie was a member of North Hartsville Baptist Church and the Hartsville Moose Lodge.  She loved spending time outdoors, working in her yards and cutting grass.  Although nature was one of her loves, family was her greatest love of all.  She retired from Hartsville Manufactoring after 15 years of service.

She is survived by her children: Marlene Robbins and husband, Bill Jones of Hartsville, Archie Chad Robbins and wife, Sarah of Altoona, Iowa, and Cristal Robbins of Hartsville; grandchildren: Jesse Jones and wife, Elaine, Trent Jones and wife, Chelsea, Nikkei Robbins, Aaron Robbins, Abe Robbins, J.J. Phillips, and Shelby Phillips; great-grandchildren: AJ Jones, Mathan Jones, and soon-to-be, Vickie Jones; siblings: Howard Howle, Joel Howle and wife, Jackie, Hilton Howle and wife, Wanda, Cecil Howle and wife, Linda, and Pat Hanley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie B. Robbins; parents; brother, Boyd Dick Howle, Jr.; and a great-grandchild, Scarlett Jones.
