Marilyn Mixon Ferguson age 71 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 23, 2019 at McLeod RMC. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm at the Church of God Of Prophecy. Rev. Jimmy Jeffords, Rev. Eddie Freeman and Rev. Marvin Griggs will officiate. Pamela Reynolds and Danny Reynolds will give a special farewell.
Marilyn was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Ernest C. Mixon and Viola Miller Mixon. She worked at AO Smith for years. She was a member of the Church Of God Of Prophecy. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are two children, Margaret (Ed) Reynolds, Patrick and James Sanders , Hartsville; three grandchildren, Danny (Katrina) Reynolds, Hartsville, Amanda Reynolds, Patrick and Zack Sanders, Hartsville; four great grandchildren, Kamren Reynolds, Anne-Marie Andrews, Trinty Maul and Jaxson Reynolds; eight sisters, Joyce (Harrison) Wallace, Cheraw, Carolyn Sanders, Patrick, Lisa (Don) Tallon, Marion, Marie (Bee) Atkinson, Hartsville, Trish Morris, Fairplain, West Virginia, Cynthia (Mark) Cope, Winston Salem, Gloria (David) Shoemake, Hartsville and Coleen (Ricky) Simmons, Hartsville; one brother, Ronald Mixon, Hartsville; one sister in law, Shelia Mixon and one brother in law, Rev. Eddie Freeman; She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Ferguson; three sisters, Janice Woods, Betty Freeman and Hattie Sanders; two brother, William (Bubba) Mixon, Frank Robert Mixon and Willie Pee Wee Mixon; and a grandson, James Cody Sanders.
