View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Marie Moore Gainey age 88, went to her Heavenly Home on November 22. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Gary Colboch and Rev. Troy Metzner will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Gainey was born in Cheraw a daughter of the late Preston and Alliene Brigman Moore. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she was very active in Gods Special People Sunday School Class. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are one son, Preston Gainey, Hartsville; two grandsons, Nathan (Kristin) Gainey, Charleston and Jesse Gainey, Hartsville; one great grandson, Zayden Gainey, Charleston; one brother, Buddy Moore, Cheraw;She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey T. Gainey and one daughter, Judy Marie Gainey; two half brothers, John H. Brigman and Hoyt B. Ingram. Memorials may bemade to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 949 N. Marquis Hwy., Hartsville, SC 29550.
