Hartsville, SC Services for Ellie-Marie Dismuke Atkinson age 78 widow of Rev. Dargan F. Atkinson, who passed away July 6 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville, SC. Rev. Kenneth Compton will officiate. Burial will follow at 5:00pm on Tuesday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls, SC. Visitation will be Monday 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Atkinson was born in Terrell County, GA, a daughter of the late George-Roe and Ellie Dismuke. She worked in the pastoral ministry with her late husband Rev. Dargan F. Atkinson pastoring 12 Pentecostal Holiness churches from 1959-1997. She was a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hartsville. She was loving a mother who was always there for her family. Family members left to cherish her memory are, one daughter, Rachiel (Charles) Fuller, Salisbury, NC; three sons, Derrell (Janet) Atkinson, Great Falls, Warren (Tammie) Atkinson, Easley and Scott (Miranda) Atkinson, Hartsville; grandchildren, Amy-Marie, Rebecca, Barbara, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jake, Christian, Taylor, Megan, Abbigail; great grandchildren who lovingly called her GiGi, Raegan, Kierstin, Mackenzie, Anthony, Nirvana; one sister, Barnette Craylor, Baconton, GA; several nieces and nephews preceded in death by siblings, Ruby Threatt, Sarah Rey, Lucille Dismuke, Arthur Dismuke, Theron Dismuke, Nell Bass, Ellen Humphreys; granddaughters, Amanda, Josey and Charlotte.
