Magdalene Bassham of Burton, MI, age 70, passed away Monday July 29. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 5 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home. Burial will be in the Darlington Memorial Gardens. Magdalene was born in Darlington, S.C. on June 1, 1943 a daughter of the late Carl and Viola (Lee) Weatherford. Surviving are one daughter, Delores (Bruce) Gwinn, grandchildren, Amber (Kyle) Gwinn, Amy (Rich) Johnson, April (Joe) Herring, Timothy (Jessica) Anderson and Alicia Anderson; great grandchildren, Coreena Forstner, Daylenn Herring, Chance Herring and Castiel Howarth; brothers and sister, Douglas (Anna) Weatherford, Jerry Weatherford, John Weatherford and Geraldine Kiesling. She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph D. Anderson, first husband, Ralph M. Anderson and second husband Lee Bassham. www.nortonfh.net
