Lyndal Faye Perdue Brown

We are saddened to announce the passing of Lyndal Faye Perdue Brown.

Mrs. Brown age 81 passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Hartsville, SC the daughter of the late Carl C. and Janie Smith Perdue.  She enjoyed spending her time cooking and gardening.  She was very generous and would give you her last penny.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Marion Leon Brown, Hartsville; sons, Ricky Brown (Teresa), Fort Lawn, Rodney Brown, Hartsville; grandchildren, Dale Brown (Tiffany), Taylor Thompson (Cody), Claire Snipes (Dustin); great grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Aubree Brown, Weston Thompson, Gracie Thompson, Ellie Snipes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her children, Carl Steven Brown, Marion Wendell Brown, siblings, Carolyn Romans, Margaret Ann Francome and Ronnie Perdue.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Thursday at Forest Hills Baptist Church.  Pastor Jim Murray will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home and Crematory.  Visitation will follow the services at the church.
