Lucile Beasley Williams age 91, went to her Heavenly Home on April 15 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Rob Teal and Rev. Charles McLendon will officiate. Burial will be in the Epperly-Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late John Simpson and Bertie Grantham Beasley. She was a charter member of the Hartsville Advent Christian Church, was a life-long member of the Advent Christian Women’s Home and Foreign Mission Society of which she contributed to since she was age 13. She enjoyed being a farmer and gardener and anything that was working with the soil. She grew up loving her horses and chickens and in later years enjoyed watching the birds around her home. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and neighbor.
Surviving are one son, Al (Pam) Williams, Hartsville; three daughters, Derri Lynn (Jack) Epperly, Hartsville, Jan (Roy) Cooler, Ellijay, GA and Shari (Tom) Gainey, Carrollton, GA; eight grandchildren, Ethan (Sydni) Williams, Shannon (Jason) Kang, Aaron Cooler, Nick Gainey, Rachel Epperly, Brett Cooler, Hannah Epperly and Darby Gainey; one sister, Maggie Galloway, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Algy Williams; sister Anne Robbins, brother, J.B. Beasley.
