Louise Dean

Bethune, S.C. Funeral services for Louise Blackwell Dean age 85, who passed away September 12, will be held Thursday at 4:00 at the McBee Baptist Church. Dr. Wayne Williams & Rev. Danny Holley will officiate. Burial will be in the McBee Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Dean was born in McBee a daughter of the late Charlie Maxwell and Annie Mae Andrews Blackwell. She was retired from Textile after 42 years of service and then served as a Wal Mart greeter for 18 years. She was a member of the McBee Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mildred (Penny) Williams, Bethune; one son, Al (Wanda) Dean, Jr. Acworth, GA; one sister, Christine Ratliff, Bethune; 5 grandchildren, David Gardner, Cindy Jones, Susan Price, Joey Dean and Casey Dean; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Dean, Sr.; son, Charles Terry Dean; brothers, Van, Richard, and C.M. Blackwell. Memorials may be made to the McBee Baptist Church, P.O.
