McBee, S.C. Funeral services for Lou Doris McCoy, age 71, who passed away May 21, will be held Saturday at 4:00 at Union United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. Steven Todd & Rev. Charlie Short will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be Friday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. McCoy was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Ollie Coleman and Pearl Griggs Hopkins. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, was the youngest of six children, attended Bishopville schools and graduated from McBee High School. Surviving are her husband, Leon McCoy, McBee; one daughter, Cindy (Kenny) Capell, Hartsville; one son, Dennis (Melissa) McCoy, Hartsville; one sister, Georgia Welch, Bishopville; three grandchildren, Arty Capell, Jeanie McCoy and Ryan McCoy all of Hartsville.
