Lois Jean Putnam

Funeral services for Jean Stewart Putnam, 79, who died peacefully on September 6, 2023, will be held at Kelleytown Baptist Church, at 3PM, on September 10, 2023. The Reverend Mike Madaris, Reverend Gary Anderson and Mr. Travis Walters will be officiating. 

Jean was a native of Hartsville and daughter of the late S.B. (“Doc”) and Lois Evelyn Stewart. She retired from Wells Fargo. Aside from the deep abiding love for Donnie, her love for her family and grandchildren was well known. 

Surviving are husband, Donald D. Putnam (“Donnie”); daughter, April (Vincent) Leeth; grandchildren David (Macie) Leeth and Elizabeth Leeth of Greenville, SC; sisters, Mariola S. (Howard) Gainey of Greensboro, NC, and Diane S. (Carl) Newsome. She was preceded in death by brothers S.B. (“Sonny”) Stewart and Wayne D. Stewart. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kelleytown Baptist Church, 2609 Kelleytown Rd. Hartsville, SC 29550. 

The family will receive friends prior to service from 2-3PM and at other times at the residence.
