Linda Mixon Barr

Funeral services for Linda Mixon Barr age 68 will be held Sunday at 3:00pm at Bible Truth Holiness Church.  Rev. Hazel Mixon, Rev. Eddie Fleming and Rev. Steve Winburn will officiate.  Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the church, other times at Sister Hazel Mixon’s residence, 4594 Gilbert Road, Hartsville, SC.

Linda passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018.  She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late Tommy and Ruth Beasley Mixon.  She attended Bible Truth Holiness Church, she had worked at Hartsville Manufacturing and Red Fox Apparel.  Linda was very hard working and she loved her family.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Buddy Barr, Hartsville; siblings, Ed (Frances) Mixon, Hartsville, Allen Mixon, Hartsville, Annie Mae Johnson, Hartsville, Alice Kelley, Hartsville, Rev. Hazel Mixon, Hartsville, Paula (Harvey) Galloway, Hartsville, Billy Jay Mixon, Hartsville, Kay (Calvin) Woods, Hartsville, Donnie Mixon, Hartsville; numerous nieces and nephews, special friend, Miriam Young.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Barr, siblings, Wilbur Mixon, Virginia Lee McDougald, Robert Mixon, Phyllis Partridge.
