Lillie Mae Hilburn Brigman received the desire of her heart and entered into the presence of The Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was born in Columbia, SC, on July 14, 1921, to the late Rev O. M. and Lillie Mae McCumbee Hilburn. She was the youngest child of 10 siblings who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Melton F. Brigman. They were married on Nov. 4, 1939 and at the time of his home going, were married 72 years. She was a Godly, loving Wife, Mother, "Ma Ma" & "Great Ma Ma." She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was ahomemaker. Funeral services for Lillie Mae, 93, will be Sunday Aug. 3, 2014, at 3:00 pm at Lakeview Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Hughes and Dr. Don Purvis will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville, SC. Burial will be in Darlington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Surviving are son: Larry M. (Pat) Brigman, Montgomery, AL. Daughter: Janice E. (Mike) Smith, Hartsville. Grandchildren Angel (Mike) Wilson, Michael (Amanda) Smith, Cameron Brigman, Hilari Price, Anthony (Ashley) Brigman, and Daniel (Ginna) Humphries. Great Grandchildren: Jana, Catie, Cole, Ayden, Gunner, McKinley, Lily "Dolly," Aubrey & Easton. Son In Law: Heyward Humphries;special loved ones,Janice B (Steve) Olsen. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: Daughter, Karen B. Humphries, Son, Donnie E. Brigman, & Grandson, Mitchell Brigman.
