Lawrence Aaron Gandy

Funeral services for Lawrence Aaron Gandy, age 85 will be held Friday December 27 at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jamie St. Ours will officiate. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Gandy was born in Hartsville a son of the late James Dowell and Coela Tyner Gandy. He was a faithful lifetime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a member of the Living Hope Sunday School Class. He retired from Wellman Inc. and was an Air Force Korean Veteran.

Surviving are one sister, Sally Faile, Hartsville;  two sisters in law, Edna Morris, Hartsville and Sylvia Chandler, Mt Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Gandy, J.C. Gandy, Howard Gandy and Dowell Gandy, Jr.; four sisters, Lou Ella Smith, Ruby Carter, Mary Margaret Gandy and Katherine Melton.
