Larry Steen

Chesterfield, S.C. Funeral services for Larry Steen, US Army Retired, age 65, who went home to be with his Lord & Savior on April 22, will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Rev. Grady Baskins will officiate. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Larry was born in Hartsville a son of the late William D. & Ada Griggs Steen. He was retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and was the owner of Steens Grocery in Patrick. Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia Forbes, Augusta, GA, Lisa (Randy) Gainey, Patrick and Teresa Johnson, Hartsville; one brother, H.B. (Marion) Steen, Goose Creek; two sisters, Helen (Pete) Gardner, Chesterfield and Lois Jones, Darlington; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; Special Friend, Bonnie Moore, Jefferson and his dog Baby. www.nortonfh.net
