Larry Franklin Grantham

Mr. Larry Franklin Grantham, 72, of Hartsville, passed away Friday morning, June 23^rd, 2023, while at McLeod Health of Florence, surrounded by his family. 

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mr. Grantham was a son of the late William Jennings “Jinx” & Mary Frances Redick Grantham.  Larry retired from Reeves Brothers and then later, Honda.  He loved spending time outdoors; going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.  He also liked Harley Davidson and listening to the radio. 

Surviving is his wife, Dawn Williamson Grantham of the home; children, Larry (Kayla) Grantham of Bishopville, Renea (Ron) Chappell of Sumter; grandson, Ethan Grantham of Bishopville; brother, Laverne (Kim) Grantham, Sr. of Bishopville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Mary Ruth Grantham Smith, Phyllis Ann Grantham Davis, and Michael Jennings Grantham.

The family invites friends for a Celebration of Life Visitation from 2-4 on Sunday afternoon, June 25^th, 2023, at the residence, 205 Gardner Drive, Hartsville.
