Kimberly Lynn Newsome

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miss Kimberly Lynn Newsome. Kimberly was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, at the age of 33.

     Miss Newsome was born in Cheraw, a daughter of Sheila Wallace Newsome and the late, Harry Newsome, Sr. She loved going to beach and swimming. Kimberly reminded everyone that she was “the baby,” and could light up a room with her smile.

     Surviving to cherish her sweet memory is her mother of the home; siblings: Amanda Smith, Jeremy (Monica) Huggins, Ashley (Anthony) Bost, and Heather (Jimmy) Pegues; also surviving are numerous family members who were very near and dear to her heart.

     She was preceded in death by her father and a grandmother, Reba G. Berger.

     A church-led service in celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon, January 5th, 2025, from Ashwood Church of the Nazarene, located at 2145 Green Ln., Bishopville, SC 29010. Reverend Brandon Barkley and Reverend Garry Lee will officiate, and the family will be speaking with friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
