Keith Stanley Eckelberger 65, of Bishopville, SC formally of Beaver, PA died at his home October 22, 2015 with grace and courage after a valiant battle with brain cancer surrounded by his family.Born August 12, 1950, he is a son of Virginia Stewart Eckelberger of Vanport, PA and the late Stanley Eckelberger. A veteran of the US Army, Keith was an avid outdoors-man, he loved to take care of his farm and ride his tractor and motorcycle. As a craftsman, he enjoyed turning wooden bowls and carpentry. He had achieved the Eagle Scout rank, and was formerly involved in Canoe Trails. He was a member and Elder of his church. Keith will be missed by his loving family and many friends including his mother, Virginia, his wife, Susan, 2 daughters, Valerie (Richard) Sutton, PA, Vivian (Daniel) Kuethe, OH, 2 step sons, Jesse (Elizabeth) Helms, PA, John (Aimee) Helms, PA, a brother, Randy (Kathleen) Eckelberger, PA, Debra Eckelberger Young, Bishopville, 3 grandchildren, Matthew Sutton, Bryce and Sarah Kuethe, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best buddy, Wesley the Westie. Preceding him in death besides his father, was a sister, Ginny Levendoski and his Godson, Erik Johnston. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am.
