The family of Kathy Marlow, 72, announces with deep sorrow her passing on April 1, 2023 at Lowcountry Community Hospice House of Summerville, SC.

Kathy was born in Harmony, NC on January 27, 1951, to the late Walter A. and Irene Gregory Marlow. Kathy resided in Columbia, SC.

Left to cherish memories are her sisters, Debbie (Mike) Thompson of McBee, Vicky (Rev. Thorn) Harvey of Rock Hill, and Linda (Harold) Zorn of Walterboro. Nephews, Alex (Sarah) Thompson of Easley, Rev. Will Harvey of Myrtle Beach, and Frankie Zorn of Gaston. Nieces, Marla (Toyo) Thompson-Phongprija of Florence, and Leah Harvey of Columbia. A special cousin, more like a sister, Judy Thompson of Camden. Numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathy’s hobbies were sewing, painting ceramic, and listening to country music. Kathy’s favorite things were cats, attending Garth Brooks concerts locally. She also never missed Clemson nor Carolina games on the TV.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, April 22, 2023 in McBee Cemetery, McBee, SC. The Rev. Thom Harvey will officiate. The family will receive family and friends immediately after the service.

A special request from the family in honor of Kathy’s home going, please wear casual attire. Select a T-shirt with any country musicians, make it really special with Garth Brooks, Clemson, Carolina, or cats.
