Katherine Crowley "Kitty" King

Mrs. Katherine Crowley “Kitty” King, 89, of Hartsville, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Wednesday morning, November 30^th, 2022, while at home with her family. 

Her service will be conducted at 2:00 on Friday afternoon, December 2^nd, 2022, from New Providence Baptist Church.  Reverend Cliff Leonard and Reverend Brian Leonard will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

A native of Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late William Edward & Lois Smith Crowley.  Kitty was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting with others.  She retired from the textile industry and enjoyed watching her Westerns.  Kitty liked to travel, enjoyed cooking, and eating out. 

Surviving are her daughter, Ginger Sylvester of Hartsville; grandchild, Meg (JD) Davis of Hartsville; great-grandchildren: Brook, Lathan, and Paisley Davis; and sister-in-law, Shirley Crowley of Hartsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Sara Mozingo, Bobby Crowley, and William Edward Crowley; great-grandchildren, Reese and Kamden Davis.
