Julia Davis

Bethune, S.C. Funeral services for Julia Martin Davis, age 88, who passed away March 20 will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Timrod Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Wallace, Rev. David Robinson and Ms. Laura Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethune Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis was born in Augusta, GA a daughter of the late Lester R. & Elsie Lyles Martin. She was a member of Timrod Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Cathy Johnson, Bethune; six sons, Glenn Martin, Bethune, Sydney Pratt, Morven, NC., Hiram Pratt, Polkton, N.C., Marshall Pratt, Perry, GA, Baxter Pratt, Lilesville, N.C. and Robert Pratt, Taylors, S.C.; Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry B. Pratt and her second husband, Curtis Davis. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Anita Murphy and Brownie Pratt. www.nortonfh.net
