Judith Chapman Howell

Judith Chapman Howell, 80, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Judy was born in Austin, TX in 1944 to the late Floyd L. Chapman and Clara Margaret.

Graveside services will be held Thursday February 6 at 10:00 am at the Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Batchelor will officiate. Visitation will be following the service at the cemetery. 

Judy had a passion for making others feel good about themselves and it showed throughout her almost 30-year career in cosmetics with Clinique. She cherished the long-lasting friendships she made during that time.

She had fond memories of Charleston; visiting her friends, sitting on the beach, and shopping downtown.

Judy was proud to say she was Elvis Presley’s biggest fan! 

She is survived by her daughter, Lori McCoy Richardson (Andy) of Lexington, SC. In addition to her daughter, she is also survived by one sister Lynda Lowe and five nieces, Tammy Howle (Chad), Rachel Yelton (Bryan), Patti Brown, Missy Gentry (Russell), and Suzie Baughman (Joseph). 

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by one sister, Carole Brown.

The family would like to thank Margie Stack for being a devoted friend to Judy and the staff at Pee Dee Gardens for their care and love for her the past three years.
