Joyce Cassidy Flowers

Funeral services for Joyce Cassidy Flowers age 69, will be held Thursday at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Cliff Leonard will officiate. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Joyce was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late W.C. Cassidy and Annie Mable Gibson Cassidy. She retired as a Corporal Security guard at Carolina Pines RMC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to wear her silk pajamas and loved to watch her soap operas.

Surviving are her husband, James Flowers, Hartsville; one daughter, Crystal (Heather Collins) Flowers, Hartsville; one son, Richard Todd Flowers, Hartsville; one sister, Kathy (Anthony) Brock, Lake Wylie, S.C.; six grandchildren, Savannah (Jermal McCrea) Simpson, Florence, Ariel (Jered Drake) Simpson, Hartsville, Nathan Love, Florence, Ava Lawrence, Hartsville, Ashlynn Wadlington, Hartsville and Kylie Collins, Hartsville; one great grandchild, Jermal (JJ) McCrea, Florence; her favorite cats Mikey Flowers and Sassy.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Calhoun "Booster" Cassidy, III and James Lide Cassidy.
