Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Joseph Wesley ONeal, Sr. age 72, who went home to be with his Lord & Savior April 20, will be held Thursday at 2:00 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Gary Colboch and Rev. Danny Wainwright will officiate. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Southern Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Wesley was born in Darlington a son of Evadne Graham ONeal and the late John Wesley ONeal. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Living Hope Sunday School Class and was owner of Darlington Mobile Home Repair and ONeals Custom Cabinets. He was active in Emmanuel Christian School having served as President of the Booster Club and as Basketball Coach and many other aspects of the school. Surviving are his mother, of Darlington; his wife, Joyce Howell ONeal, Hartsville; two sons, Joseph Wesley (Kristin) ONeal, Hartsville and Chris (Jenifer) ONeal, Hartsville; two brothers, Gene (Doris) ONeal, Darlington and John Edward (Gloria Jean) ONeal, Darlington; one sister, Mary (Rick) Heinz, Troy, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Ray, Madison, Morgan and Natalie ONeal and Aron Johnson. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Ryan ONeal; brother, Charles David ONeal and Uncle, Leon Graham.
