16 HN Bishopville, S.C. Funeral services for Joseph Grayson (Joe) Arledge, age 68, who passed away February 15, will be held Tuesday at 4:00 at Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. Arlin Kirkland, Rev. Jimmy Holley and Rev. Danny Wainright will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Monday 5-8 at the Funeral Home. Mr. Arledge was born in Camden, a son of the late John S. (Jack) Arledge and Minnie Wilson Arledge. He was the owner of A & T Quik Stop and was a farmer for 35 years and worked at Dupont for 10 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church on Lee State Park Road, where he served as a deacon, was a member of the Lee County Council from 1980 1988, and was a member of the Cassatt Water board from 1990 until the present. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Helen Davis Arledge, Bishopville; one daughter, Teresa (Larry) Brown, Bishopville; two sons, Joey (Tammy) Arledge and Jackie (Melissa) Arledge, Bishopville; one brother, John T. (Janice) Arledge, Camden; four sisters, Almenia Gainey, Sybol (Billy) Brown, Patsy (Buck) Watson and Nancy Brown, all of Bishopville; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael) Parnell, Elgin, Matthew Brown, Kyle Arledge, Brooke Arledge, Sidney Arledge, Mackensie Arledge and Hunter Arledge, all of Bishopville; three great grandchildren, JoeAnna Parnell, Scott Parnell and Lizzy Parnell, all of Elgin. He was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Arledge and three sisters, Alberta ONeal, Elizabeth Smith and Frances Truesdale.
