Norton Funeral Home Hartsville, SC Services for Johnny Roger Walters age 53 will be held Tuesday at 4:00pm at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Williams will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Bethune. Visitation will be held Monday 5-7pm at the funeral home. Roger passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the McLeod Hospice House. He was the son of the late Leavie James and Willene Blackwell Walters. He loved playing horseshoes and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Mrs. Patsy Walters, McBee; daughter, Michelle (Mark) Crawford, Colorado Springs, CO; son, Brian (Shannon) Walters, Patrick; brothers, Willard Walters, NC, Melvin Walters, Blenheim, Paul Walters, Pageland; sisters, Alice Catoe, Patricia Carter, Phyllis Johnson, all of Hartsville; grandchildren, Isaiah Crawford, Juliana Craford, Jaylin Crawford, Hali Crawford, Sawyer Walters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Walters. The family has requested memorials be made to the funeral home to help with the burial expenses for Mr. Walters. www.nortonfh.net
