Johnathon Martin Howell

Mr. Johnathon Martin Howell, 39, of Lamar, passed away Thursday evening, October 6^th, 2022, while at McLeod Health of Florence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon, October 9^th, 2022, from the Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Beck officiating.  The family will receiving friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

A native and lifelong resident of Darlington County, Mr. Howell was a son of Martin Howell and the late, Lisa Evans Howell.  Johnathon enjoyed video games, golfing, the Braves and Gamecocks.  He worked for years with NAPA Auto Parts of Florence, where he enjoyed helping people in any way he could. 

Surviving are his parents, Martin & Betty Howell of Lamar; brother, Derek Howell of Lamar; maternal grandmother, Frances Williams of Hartsville; and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Johnny & Anne Howell, Dewey Williams, and Jimmy Evans; uncle, David “Cotton” Howell; aunt and uncle, RD & Elaine Chandler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to One Church Building Fund at 130 W. Carolina Ave. Hartsville, SC 29550.
