View a video memorial Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for John Wesley Pratt, age 67, who passed away June 29, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 at the Dovesville Church of God. Rev. Wayne Tyler and Rev. Carroll Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Dovesville Church of God Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. Pratt was born in Charleston a son of the late Chamber & Catherine Russell Pratt. He was retired from Nucor Steel after 22 years of service and later was a truck driver. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon and Church Bus Driver. He was an Honorary member of the Hartsville Rescue Squad where he was active for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Melissa (Shannon) Hopkins, Hartsville and Rachel (Daniel) Winburn, Hartsville; two sons, Richard Lee (Sherry) Pratt, Cheraw and Ronnie (Kimberly) Pratt, Hartsville. 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Adams Pratt and a son, John C. Pratt.
