John Perdue

Patrick, S.C. Funeral services for John Daniel (JD) Perdue, age 81, who passed away July 8, will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Brown Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Faulkenbury will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. JD was born in Patrick a son of the late Joseph Frank & Mattie Viola Oakley Perdue. He was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Helen Teal Perdue, Patrick; four children, Earine ( Malcolm) Starling, Society Hill, Wanda (Mike) Smith, Lydia, Buddy (Judi) Tiller, Spartanburg and Michelle (Samuel) Weatherford, Hamlet, N.C.; one brother, Neil (Alicia) Perdue, Patrick; one sister, Elizabeth Howle, Hartsville; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Sally Oneal Perdue; son, Dennis H. Perdue, great grandchild, Michael Thomas Tiller and a daughter, Elaine Boan.
