Norton Funeral Home Hartsville, SC Memorial services for Mrs. JoAnne Polk Morrell age 64 will be held Thursday at 5:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Short will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. JoAnne passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. She was born in Beaufort, SC the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Burnice Polk. She was retired from McLeod Hospital after 36 years where she worked in the Labor and Delivery unit which she loved. JoAnne deeply loved and cared for her animals. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, R. Wayne Morrell, Hartsville; son, Taylor Morrell, Hartsville; brother, Gary Polk, Beaufort; sister in law, Susan Loving, Hartsville. Two very special friends, Jo Coker, Florence and Taffy Kelley, Hartsville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
