          Mr. Jason J. Oliver, age 41, entered into rest on Friday, August 25, 2023 with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life service will be 5:00 PM Monday, August 28, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ronnie Moore and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

          Mr. Oliver was born February 6, 1982 in Darlington, SC a son of Joel Claude and Joy Kissiah Oliver. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, Class of 2000, and a former employee of Santee Cooper Electric. Jason enjoyed horses and working on antique tractors. A young man who always faced life with a smile and his trademark laugh, Jason never met a stranger and always enjoyed time spent with friends.

          Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude and Frances Oliver; maternal grandparents, Pat and Lib Kissiah; and uncles, Johnny Kissiah, and Jeff Oliver.

          Survivors include his sons, Baylor Oliver, and Dustin Oliver; and their mother, Jessie Oliver all of Chesterfield, SC; parents, Joel “Weasel” & Joy Oliver of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
