Janice O'Neal

Mrs. Janice Outlaw O’Neal, 74, of Society Hill, passed away Monday afternoon, June 25th, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Reverend Danny Pierce will officiate with a private family burial to follow.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. O’Neal was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late James F. & Rae Flowers Outlaw.  Janice was a lady who loved the outdoors, taking care of her flowers and cutting grass.  She also loved going to the beach, shopping and enjoyed fishing.  Janice was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a dental assistant until retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John S. O’Neal of the home; daughter, Laurie Lane and husband, Gordon of Hartsville; and a brother, Jimmy Outlaw and wife, Charlene of Americus, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
