Janet Sue Goforth

Patrick – Mrs. Janet Sue Goforth, 61, passed away Thursday morning, July 16th, 2020, while at the Agape Hospice House of Lexington.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday morning, July 25th, 2020, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Nat Brown officiating.

Mrs. Goforth was born in Statesville, North Carolina, but resided in Patrick for most of her life.  Janet was employed by Martin Marietta Loamy Sand & Gravel of Kershaw County where she researched soil.  She loved fishing, her grandchildren, and spending time with her friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Joanie (Maurice Robinson) Outlaw; grandchildren: Elanti Outlaw, Maurice Robinson-Outlaw, Jr., Alexus Outlaw, Trinity Outlaw, Candice Outlaw, Destiny Outlaw; great-grandson, Waylon Cole Maney; siblings: Kenneth Goforth, Julia Goforth, Gina Knowles, and Machelle Knowles.

She was preceded in death by her children, Ginger Bare and Richard Outlaw, Jr.; and her mother, Margaret Knowles.
