Private Graveside Services for James William Easterling age 81, will be held Wednesday at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. John Parks will officiate.
Mr. Easterling was born in Bennettsville a son of the late Pearson Easterling and Wille Elma McKay Brewer. He was a member of Morton Presbyterian Church, retired from Kohler Company in Spartanburg after 44 years of service and had obtained the rank of Eagle Scout.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Judy Ann Thompson Easterling, Hartsville; one daughter, Dawn (Larry) Barnes, Cliffside, N.C.; one son, Philip (Elaine) Easterling, Hendersonville, N.C.; three brothers, Reddin Pittman, Mobile, AL, David Easterling, Florence and Johnny Brewer, Columbia; two sisters, Sudie Gower, Canton, N.C. and Brenda Lowe, Florence; seven grandchildren, Avey Jane (Daniel) Lute, Birmingham, AL, Jason Easterling, Chattanooga, TN, Joshua Sisco, Oxford, MS, Kelli Jane Barnes, Kayla Barnes, Tie Barnes and Landon Barnes, all of Cliffside, N.C.; three great grandchildren Avey Grace Lute, Isabelle Lute and Micah Lute, Birmingham, AL
