James Robert “Robbie” Jordan, Jr., 53, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at his home. Robbie was born on June 21, 1968, in Hartsville, South Carolina, to James Robert Jordan, Sr. and Sandra Louise Riles Jordan. He was a graduate of Hartsville High School and Coastal Carolina University, where he was an infielder for the baseball team. He moved to Georgetown in 1998 with his beloved wife Kim, and they created a full and beautiful life with their four children. Robbie was a devoted member, youth advisor, and Elder of Georgetown Presbyterian Church. He was also a volunteer coach in many youth sports in Georgetown, influencing the lives of hundreds of young people. On top of this, he was the current president of the Georgetown High School Booster Club. He was employed with the Georgetown Kraft Credit Union for many years and then with Georgetown County School District, and ultimately Horry County as the Director of Finance. Robbie will be fondly remembered for his unendingly kind and humble personality, the heartfelt cards that he wrote his many friends and family, and the infinite love he had for his children and wife, Kim. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend who will be missed by many. Visitation will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, from 5:30-7:30pm at Georgetown Presbyterian Church in the fellowship hall. A memorial service will be held at Georgetown Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 9th, at 2pm. In addition to his parents of Hartsville, Robbie is survived by four children, Mac Jordan, Riley Jordan, Mary Cooper Jordan, and Pep Jordan, all of Georgetown; his in-laws, Allen and Betty McCutchen of Hartsville; and a sister-in-law, Allyson Easterling (Clark) of Charlotte, North Carolina; four nieces and two nephews.
