James Best "J.B" Mozingo

In loving memory of James Best "J.B" Mozingo.  The Norton Funeral Home family is saddend to announce his passing.

Mr. Mozingo age 71 passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.

Memorial services will be held 4:00pm Friday at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel, visitation following the services.

Mr. Mozingo was born in Columbia, SC the son of the late Pressley and Olga Best Mozingo.  He was a sergeant in the National Guard as a military police officer for 6 years.  Mr. Mozingo spent his whole life in Law enforcement, he was Chief of Police in Bishopville, SC, a private investigator, he could spend all day talking about law enforcement and the military.  He was a free mason, he loved boating, riding four wheelers, spending time with his family and friends.

Left to Cherish his memory are his daughter, Tina Renee Mozingo, Bishopville; grandchildren, Brandon Dwayne (Sarah) Campbell, Lamar, Lauren Victoria (Jordan) Self, Augusta, GA; great grandchildren, Jensen David Self and Presley Ann Self.

Norton Funeral Home and Crematory, Bishopville Chapel are honored to be of service to the Mozingo family.
