Mr. James Windsor, 83, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, while at home with loved ones.

Mr. Windsor was born in Boaz, AL, a son of the late Luther & Vesta Windsor. During his work years, Jim was an industrial mechanic at manufacturing facilities where he most often worked the night shift. However, he always made time to have lunch dates with his wife and Sundays always meant dinner with the family. He was a loving and proud husband, father, and grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Diana Windsor, daughter, Debra Teschner (Mike), grandson, Justin Lee (Jennifer), granddaughter, Julia Skeen (Faith), two great grandsons Mason and Harrison Lee, brother Dale (Pat), sister-in-law Beverly DiCicco, Pamela Hingson (Clark), brother-in-law Kevin McCall (Janice). Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gene and sister Peggy.

The family would like to extend special thanks to family friend Jo Anna Geddings, Crescent Hospice, and the office of Dr. William Martin.

His funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday , May 14 , 2024, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverend Champ Squires will officiate with burial following in Westview Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service in the Norton Funeral home chapel.
