James T. Skinner, Jr.

Funeral services for James T. Skinner, Jr. who passed away September 6, 2024 in Pickens, S.C., will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM graveside at the Hebron United Methodist Church, 3471 Una Road, Bishopville, S.C. Burial will be in the Hebron Methodist Church Cemetery.

James was born in Bishopville, S.C., on May 6, 1935 to the late James T. Skinner, Sr. and Frankie Rollins Skinner.

James was a proud graduate of Clemson University and worked as a sales engineer for many years. He had three sons, James, Jeff and John. He enjoyed the outdoors, quail hunting, salt water fishing, football, Nascar and tennis and shared this love with his sons.

In the second half of his life James met and loved Sue Spearman of Pickens, S.C. and they enjoyed many years of life with each other.

James Skinner is survived by his sons James T. Skinner, III and wife Linda, Jeff Skinner and wife Glenda and John Skinner and wife Kelly. He is also survived by a granddaughters Josie, Jackie, Katie, Morgan and grandsons Jeffrey, Matt and JJ, as well as, brother George Skinner of Dublin, GA and sister Ann Grantham of Hartsville, SC and their families and Sue Spearman.
