Funeral services for James Bosie Johnson, Sr. age 71, will be held Monday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson was born in Hartsville a son of the late Coyt & Mary Grantham Johnson. He was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God. He was a farmer all of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving are his wife: Lorna Watkins Johnson, Hartsville; two sons, Jimmy (Sandy) Johnson, Hartsville and Trent (Regina) Johnson, Hartsville; one daughter, Mary (Eddie) Wirhousky, Hartsville; two brothers, Laverne (Catherine) Johnson. Heath Springs and Lide (Peggy) Johnson, Hartsville; two sisters, Alice (Roger) Ammons, Cleveland, TN and Ann Gainey, Patrick; nine grandchildren, John Paul Johnson, Kirk (Victoria) Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Nathen Johnson, Kayla (Kory) Middleton, Madison Johnson, Coyt Johnson, Katee Wirhousky and Ava Wirhousky; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Benjamin.
